The first part of the sentence should be tailored to the situation: you can add something like “Excuse me” at the beginning or replace “I was walking over there” by “I was crossing the street,” “I was getting out of the bus,“ “I was getting out of the subway,” and so forth.

Quite similar to the previous one.

Quite similar to the previous ones, but softer.
Less solid.
4. “Hi, I just saw you walking by, and I just love the way you walk. You look pretty classy.”
A great pickup line if the girl has a feminine way of walking on which you can comment.
5. “Hi, I just saw you walking by and I think you’re in absolutely perfect shape. Do you work out?”
A pickup line that allows you to compliment the girl on her body, but in a way that remains subtle and socially calibrated.

You’re probably going to find the opening lines below banal and lame.
They are meant to look that way.
That’s the idea.
What you need to understand is that in clubs and bars, women are used to being approached.

Here, it’s the same principle as approaching girls in a club or in a bar.
The difference is that at a friend’s party, girls are a lot easier to open because you’re already socially validated.
You’ve been invited.
You have friends in common.
